Can you put a full suss bike on the F10 Elevator High Rack rack?
Or does anybody have any suggestions as to what would be a good recommendation (I have a 05 Polo and a Specialised XC SFR)

Yes you can put full suspension bikes on car racks. If you find it hard to find a gap for the bars you can use a car rack top tube clamp which provides a tube to hook the bars under. Linked below.
