They are clamped on by two clamps with two bolts each, similar to how the handlebars connect to a stem. I found that I had to use the spacers provided to obtain a snug fit as my handlebars are not oversize.

answer 2
They bolt on directly to your bars, they are supplied with shims if your bars are chunky ones.

I have just got a road bike and am looking at putting a entry level set of Tri bars on, can you please tell me the distance between the fixing brackets. Also the width of the brackets, so i know if i will have to remove some of the tape.

As long as you don't have bar tape going right up to the stem they will fit . If you do then just trim off a couple of inches and they will fit nicely. Most bars are of a universal fit so unless you have wing design bars , no worries!

The total clamping area is 80mm. There is a 45mm gap between the clamps. Each clamp is 17mm in width.

Question
Are these adjustable in front to back direction?
I want these for triathlons and I see the rules state that the bars must overhang the front axel by more than 15cm. would these comply on a small ladies bike? Thanks in advance.

Depends on the length of the stem. Mine's a 110mm stem and the bars overhang by more than 15cm. See where the handlebars are in comparison with the front axel on your bike first, but the aero bars are easily over 15cm long themselves. Its worth noting that I had a 90mm stem on before and found that they were too short for the correct fit.

Hi, I'm pretty sure that they are not adjustable - the only adjustable part are the pads in how they sit. I've used them for loads of tris tho and never had an issue, I'm using them for the UK 70.3 Ironman this weekend so I'll soon see if they are acceptable. I'm 99% sure thet will be and worst case scenario I just take them off and do it without them. I've done London Triathlon, Windsor Triathlon and loads of small tris and never had them even looked at.

Question
will these bars fit FSA wing pro bars with their highly ovalized section near the stem?thanks.
They didn't really fit the Concept Aero Bars that came on my Focus Cayo Pro. You could of go them to fit, but I think it would have stressed the brackets in doing so. I'd only recommend these for standard bars.

Question
Diameter and parallell distance?
Hi! I'd like to fit Century or Airstryke bow from Profile Design with a Stem Cap Clip-On System (SCCS) like the A710 from Oval Concepts instead of the provided ''bar clip-on''.
Thus I wonder, what's the diameter of the Century tubing and the distance between the tube ends where they are parallell.
I would advise emailing sales@wiggle.co.uk once we have stock to get an answer to theis question.

I can't guarantee that these bars will fit, we don't sell the Norco XFR 3 so I can't be sure of the stem placement and bar diameter around the stem clamp. You should be fine to use these bars though.
