I have never tried them on Latex but not recommend it, as Latex is very thin and I would use a recommended adhesive only.

Yes, I use latex tubes in fact and the Park Glue Less patch works great on these. You need to buff the tube first but do so very gently, even more gently then you would with butyl, and buff an area just a bit larger then the patch will cover. Then take an alcohol pad and clean the area. Peel the patch off the paper being careful to only touch the very end of a corner so as not to get your finger oil on the too much of the patch. Place it on the tube and press as hard as you can between your thumb and index finger for 30 seconds. I alternate by pressing hard on two opposite corners covering the center, then switch to the other two corners and center and press again for 30 seconds.

Latex tubes are purely for racing events. So the best thing to do is to replace it.

OR

To patch a latex tube, make patches from an old latex tube that are fully rounded and just large enough to cover the hole plus five mm. For instance, a thorn hole takes a 10 mm diameter patch. Use Pastali rim glue (tire patch glue also works but not as well) wiped thinly onto the patch with your finger. Place the patch on the tube immediately and press flat. Latex will pass the volatile solvent allowing the glue to cure rapidly with good adhesion to the tube.

Question
Road Inner Tubes
Having bought a new road bike recently I need to get some new kit. I usually use another brand of adhesive patches as I always end up sticking the patch to my finger if I use the regular kits, the one I currently use only says for MTB and BMX use so would these be suitable for a road bike too?

Try it and see. I can't think why it would not work, after all it is covering a hole in a rubber tube.

use a proper repair kit - rema tt04 is excelent

the park patches are ok for the lower pressures on mtb/bmx, but they can leak/fail at the much higher pressure of road tyres

I would say yes but as an avid road cyclist it is never really worth patching a road bike inner tube - just replace the tube :O)

If I were you I would ditch the glued patches and buy the Park glueless quick patch. They are less bulky for your back pockets and very quick to apply as the glue is already on the patch.

I always use the park self adhesive patches on a road bike. Do bear in mind that it's a get you home not a permanent repair in my experience.

You can use these with road tyres but generally because of the high pressures involved with road tyres, we recommend replacing the tube asap.
